Kaz’s Barbers

Painted as part of 2022’s Upfest Paint Festival in Bristol this second storey mural sits on top of a barbershop on East Street. I wanted to add something really colourful and funky to this wall because it can be seen from some of the residential streets across a junction where lots of traffic flows through Bedminster and I also wanted it to tie in to the business it sits on top of.

I had the added challenge of this wall being home to a giant fibre glass caterpillar sculpture from a previous art trail. He needed a fresh coat and incorporating into my mural, so I made him into one of my doodles and gave him small wings.
