Delivery & Returns Policy

This website is owned and operated by Ejits which is the moniker of Emily J. Taylor. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Ejits plus anyone she may have in her employment. The terms “I”, “me”, “my” and “mine” refer to Ejits (Emily) specifically.

Delivery

All orders are processed and dispatched within 4 working days. Commissioned or personalised products are processed and dispatched as soon as they are completed. Large items may take longer as a courier needs to be booked. For any exceptions, you will be advised about delivery times.

All orders are packaged in secure postage boxes and envelopes. Delicate items are well-packed with stuffing materials to ensure that no damage is taken in transit.

All items are shipped from the UK and typical arrival times are listed below, if you do not receive your order within these times (after the dispatch date) please get in touch. These times are from the date of dispatch.

UK: 2-3 working days

Within Europe: 3-7 workings days

Worldwide: 5-21 working days

Please note that the time frames above also apply to any upgraded shipping and the upgrade is purely for tracking the order.

We cannot be held accountable for any delays due to known postal strikes or issues in the area in which the order is due for delivery.

At the moment our normal shipping methods are via Royal Mail First or Second Class (chosen at checkout) anywhere within the UK and via Royal Mail International Standard anywhere outside of the UK.For any exceptions, say for larger items that require a courier, you will be advised about delivery methods.

Please note if you are outside of the UK that changes have occurred since the UK left the EU and additional VAT taxes, handling fees and/or customs charges may be applied at the point of delivery. We cannot be held responsible for these charges.

The buyer is responsible for any VAT, taxes, fees or customs charges. 

 

Returns

If you are unhappy with your purchase, for any reason please get in touch within 14 days of receiving your order. We can then discuss options regarding refunds and exchanges. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in its original packaging, unused and undamaged and in the same condition that you received it.

Before making a return please get in touch with us to make sure you send it to the correct place and so that we can resolve any issues that you may be having in the best possible way.

Please note that several types of products are exempt from being returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty. These items include commissioned or personalised products.

If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value to the item. This includes any item that is not in its original condition or in its original packaging, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to an error on our part.

Refunds

Once an item has been returned and inspected we will send you an email to confirm that we have received your return and will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If it is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 days.

Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, any original costs for the delivery will be deducted from the total refund amount.  

Sale items

Only regular priced items can be returned, unfortunately, sale items cannot be returned.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. 

Shipping

If you wish to return an item contact us first (hello@ejits.art) to obtain a return address and inform us of the reason for the return.

You will be responsible for the shipping cost of returning an item. 

We will not be held responsible for lost returned items in the post. If this concerns you please use a trackable postage method to ensure your items are returned safely.

If you decide that you would like to cancel your order please contact us as soon as possible. If the order has already been dispatched a refund will only be available once the order has been returned in its original sellable condition (still in packaging). 

Commissioned or personalised items are non-refundable once they have been paid for.
